That strategic decision allowed NewAge to grow rapidly every year since 1995 and to avoid the revenue decline that has affected many Information Technology consulting firms in the year 2000.
Thanks to a strategic partnership with an International software firm, NewAgeSys has consistently been able to secure skilled programmers and software engineers which are in short supply in the US. To keep NewAge Systems growing rapidly, John is focusing on the demand side of the business. "We will double our direct sales force this year, setting the stage for the next few years for continued rapid growth to a goal of $100 million in revenue and an IPO" says John. John sees a portion of that growth coming from wireless applications.
"As companies realized the need for web enabled applications, the next step will be to make them wireless-enabled. That presents a challenging and nightmarish combination - old mainframes, client/server systems, Intranets, web interfaces and mobile interfaces," he says."
